Rules

Teams must have 4 consistent players on their roster throughout the season.

Game Mode: Start with :40 of play—shots are worth 2 points, except the final :10 when worth 3. Scoring 40+ earns :15 Bonus Time, with 2-point shots in the first :05 and 3-point shots in the final :10.

Each player can play up to 8 games per week on their Elite machine using six balls.

Top 4 scores per player count toward the team’s weekly total.

Players must toggle “League Play” on their profile at app.popashot.net before playing to ensure scores are tracked.

One video of a full league game, per player, must be emailed weekly for score verification.

The Commissioner’s Letter
— Week 5

From the Desk of Mr. Pop

Players. Captains. Pop-A-Shot Nation.

We are moving into Week 6.

The final week of the regular season.

Balls popping off the return ramp a little louder.

Scoreboards getting checked a little more often.

That's the good stuff.

Title

DIVISION 1

Rec Center Royalty got their must-win against the Pro Wrestling Tee Slammers.

Season alive. Fourth place. Final playoff spot. One foot in the bracket.

But the door isn't closed yet.

They face a Hyphy Hoopers team fresh off their best performance of the season. Timing is everything in this league. And Hyphy has nothing to lose and every reason to spoil somebody's season.

If Royalty stumbles, the last playoff ticket goes to the winner of Electric Bats vs. Pro Wrestling Tee Slammers.

The Bats are favored.

By 39 points.

That's not a cushion, it's a folding chair.

And then...the two heavyweights face off. The #1 team in the country, the Motor City Sharpshooters, take on the #2 Skyline Swishers.

Three National Championship qualifiers between them, including Swishers captain BDerian who punched his ticket at last weekend's LA Qualifier. But these match-ups aren't decided by the headliners, the whole line-up needs to bring their A-game to get the W.

Title

DIVISION 2

At the top, it's settled.

Deep Swish Pizza holds the #1 spot. Tennessee Fireballers sit at #2. After that? It gets interesting.

Two teams at 3-2.

Two teams at 2-3.

The Rim Reapers dropped their first two and have now won three straight. That's not luck. That's adjustment. That's belief. They look like a team on its way.

And then, there's the other game of the week. Sodballers vs. Sip 'n Flip Hoopsters.

Both experienced.

Both hungry.

Both have been staring at the bracket since last season ended.

Win and you're in.

Lose and you're scoreboard watching.

Title

FOR THE REST OF YOU

Some seasons end with confetti.

Some end with lessons.

If this isn't your year, keep shooting.

We'll have a consolation bracket for the 5-8 seeds in each division and end-of-season awards are coming. This league rewards more than just standings.

Effort matters.

Energy matters.

Showing up matters.

One week left.

Shoot straight.
