Season Details

  • Starts: Week of August 24
  • Length: 1 week pre-season, 5 weeks regular season, 2 weeks playoffs
  • Teams: 4 players (up to 1 sub)
  • Weekly requirement: Each player shoots 5 league games per week. Play them whenever you want during the week—your scores get combined for the team total.

1. Roster & Eligibility

  • Team Structure: Teams consist of four (4) core players plus the option for one (1) designated substitute.
  • Roster Lock: All rosters (including the optional sub) must be finalized by Friday, August 21. No roster changes are permitted after this date.
  • Playoff Sub Restriction: Substitutes are ineligible to compete in the Playoffs. Only core rostered players may shoot in Playoff matches.
  • Single Location Requirement: All players on a team must shoot at the same venue. All submitted games for a team must be played on the same connected Pop-A-Shot Elite machine during the active league week.

2. Schedule & Match Timelines

  • League Week: An official league week runs from Monday at 12:00 AM PST through Sunday at 11:59 PM PST.
  • Flex Scheduling: Games can be played at any venue featuring an official connected Pop-A-Shot Elite machine at any time during the active league week.
  • Submission Deadline: All scores and required verification videos must be submitted by Sunday at 11:59 PM PST. Late submissions will not count toward that week's matchup.

3. Gameplay Specs & Machine Rules

  • Game Mode: All official league games must be played on Standard Mode (40 seconds of regular time + 15 seconds of bonus time).
  • Profile Setup: Players must toggle on "League Mode" in their Elite player profile before shooting league games.
  • Weekly Game Limit: A player may play up to 6 League Mode games per week. The database automatically tallies the player's top 5 scores toward the team's weekly total.
  • Equipment Standard: All league games must be played with six (6) inflated balls in the Elite machine.
  • Machine Scoring & Miscounts: The score recorded by the Elite machine display is final. Sensors occasionally miscount shots across all arcade units; only the official score registered by the machine will count.

4. Video Verification

  • Submission Portal: Videos must be uploaded to the official Pop-A-Shot submission link before the weekly Sunday deadline.
  • Framing Requirements: Video submissions must clearly show: The player shooting, The game timer, and The final score display on the LED console.
  • Regular Season Volume: Each active player must submit one (1) verified game video per week.
  • Playoff Volume: Each active player must submit two (2) verified game videos per playoff week.

5. Scoring & Match Results

  • Weekly Team Total: A team's weekly score is the combined sum of all four players' top 5 games (20 total scores).
  • Forfeits & Double Losses: If neither team scores points or submits required data in a given week, both teams receive a Loss.
  • Match Tiebreaker: If two teams tie on total points in a weekly matchup, the win is awarded to the team with the highest single individual game score recorded by any player on either team that week.

6. Playoff Format & Seeding

  • Playoff Qualification: The top four (4) teams in each division advance to the playoffs based on overall Win/Loss record.
  • Standings Tiebreaker: If two teams finish the regular season with the same Win/Loss record, the playoff seed is determined by Total Points Scored across the regular season.
  • Playoff Schedule: Week 7 (Semifinals): Seed #1 vs. Seed #4 | Seed #2 vs. Seed #3. Week 8 (Championship): Semifinal Winner 1 vs. Semifinal Winner 2.
