Official League Format
- Team Roster: 4 core players plus up to 1 optional substitute.
- Season Length: 8-week structured tournament (1 week pre-season, 5 weeks regular season, 2 weeks playoffs).
- Weekly Matchups: Head-to-head asynchronous team battles across tiered skill divisions.
- Shooter Requirement: Each player logs 5 official league games per week. Scores combine into your team's weekly cumulative total.
- Location Flexibility: Shoot games at any venue featuring an active connected Pop-A-Shot Elite machine.
1. Roster & Eligibility
- Team Structure: Teams consist of four (4) core players plus the option for one (1) designated substitute.
- Roster Lock: All team rosters must be finalized before official regular season play begins. No roster additions are permitted after the deadline.
- Playoff Sub Restriction: Substitutes are ineligible to compete in the Playoffs. Only core rostered shooters may compete in Playoff matches.
- Single Location Requirement: All players on a team must shoot at the same venue on the same connected Pop-A-Shot Elite machine during the active league week.
2. Schedule & Match Timelines
- League Week: An official league week runs from Monday at 12:00 AM PST through Sunday at 11:59 PM PST.
- Flex Scheduling: Matches can be shot at any venue with a connected Pop-A-Shot Elite unit at any time during the active league week.
- Submission Deadline: All scores and required verification videos must be submitted by Sunday at 11:59 PM PST. Late submissions will not count.
3. Gameplay Specs & Machine Rules
- Game Mode: All league games must be played on Standard Mode (40 seconds regular time + 15 seconds bonus time).
- Profile Setup: Players must toggle on "League Mode" in their Elite profile prior to shooting league games.
- Weekly Game Limit: A player may shoot up to 6 League Mode games per week. The system automatically tallies their top 5 scores toward the team total.
- Equipment Standard: All matches must be played with six (6) properly inflated official balls in the Elite unit.
- Console Verification: The score displayed on the Elite console is authoritative.
4. Video Verification
- Submission Portal: Videos must be uploaded to the official Pop-A-Shot verification portal prior to the Sunday deadline.
- Framing Requirements: Footage must clearly show the player shooting, the active timer, and the final LED score display.
- Regular Season Quota: Each active shooter must submit one (1) verified game video per regular season week.
- Playoff Quota: Each active shooter must submit two (2) verified game videos per playoff round.
5. Scoring & Match Results
- Weekly Team Total: A team's weekly score is the sum of all four players' top 5 games (20 total scores).
- Forfeits: Teams failing to submit required scores receive a Loss for that week's matchup.
- Match Tiebreaker: If two teams tie on total points, the win goes to the team with the highest single game score recorded by any player that week.
6. Playoff Format & Seeding
- Qualification: The top four (4) teams in each division advance to the playoffs based on overall Win/Loss record.
- Standings Tiebreaker: Tied records are decided by total cumulative points scored across the regular season.
- Playoff Schedule: Week 7: Semifinals (#1 vs #4, #2 vs #3). Week 8: Championship Final.
