Game Modes

Everyone loves Game mode 1, but your model may have up to 16 game modes! A breakdown of each is below.

Game Mode 1: Standard Play
30 seconds to score as much as you can. Get 100 points and join the Century Club!
Game Mode 1: Standard Play
One or two players have thirty seconds to score as many points as possible. Each basket is worth two points, except in the final ten seconds of each period, when they are worth three! If a player scores thirty points, they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If they score sixty points, they earn an extra ten seconds. If they score one hundred points, they become an official Century Club member.

Game Mode 2: Overtime
One or two players have sixty seconds to score as many points as possible. Each basket is worth two points, except in the final ten seconds of each period, when they are worth three! If a player scores fifty points they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If they score eighty points, they earn an extra ten seconds.

60 seconds to score as much as you can.

Game Mode 3: Sudden Death
One or two players have fifteen seconds to score as many points as possible. Each basket is worth two points, except in the final ten seconds of each period, when they are worth three! If a player scores twenty points, they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If a player scores forty points, they earn an extra ten seconds.

45 seconds to score as much as you can.

One or two players have forty-five seconds to score as many points as possible. Each basket is worth two points, except in the final ten seconds of each period, when they are worth three! If a player scores forty points, they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If a player scores seventy points, they earn an extra ten seconds.

Single Player only. 30 seconds to score as much as you can.

One player, with one active basket, has thirty seconds to score as many points as possible. Each basket is worth two points, except in the final ten seconds of each period, when they are worth three! If a player scores thirty points, they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If a player scores sixty points, they earn an extra ten seconds.

This game mode allows for one to two players with no time limit and all baskets are worth two points

Game Mode 7: Team
This game mode combines the score of two players with a thirty second time limit. baskets are worth two points, except in the final ten seconds of each period, baskets are then worth three points! If the team scores thirty points, they earn an additional fifteen seconds. If the team reaches sixty points, they earn an extra ten seconds. Whichever player has the highest score wins!

2 players work together for a combined team score.

Shoot only at the basket with the flashing score.

One player has thirty seconds to shoot at the basket with the flashing score. baskets are worth two points! If the player makes one on the wrong basket, two points are deducted. Once the player hits thirty points, they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If the player hits sixty points, they earn an additional ten seconds. 

Game Mode 9: Crisscross
Players one and two have thirty seconds to shoot at their opponent’s basket. Each player’s score is displayed on the side that they are shooting from. All baskets are worth 2 points. Once a player hits thirty points, they earn an extra fifteen seconds. If the player hits sixty points, they earn an additional ten seconds. Whichever player has the highest score wins!

Shoot only at your opponent’s basket.

Make a basket within 3 seconds.

One to two players have 3 seconds after the Pop-A-Shot announcer says “Shoot!” to make a basket. All baskets are worth 2 points. The game is over when no one makes a basket in the 3 seconds. Whoever has the highest score wins!

Follow the announcer’s instructions.

One player has 3 seconds to make a basket after the Pop-A-Shot announcer says “Left” or “Right”. Baskets are worth 2 points. The game is over when no basket is made in the 3 seconds.

Game Mode 12: Double or Nothing
One or two players have fifteen seconds to score their first basket for two points, then each subsequent basket counts for double. If no basket is made within three seconds, the next basket is worth two points. Whoever has the highest score wins!

Game Mode 13: Scoring Streak
One or two players have thirty seconds to maintain the streak. Baskets are worth 2 points. If no basket is made within three seconds, the streak is broken.

Work as a team to make one basket every 3 seconds.

Game Mode 14: Tug of War
Your opponent can lower your score.

Two players are required for this game. For each basket made, that player gets two points and the other player loses two points; the first player to ten points wins!

Game Mode 15: Around the World
This game allows for up to four players and the goal is to be the fastest player to score ten points. The clock counts how long each player takes to get to ten points. The person with the lowest time wins!

Game Mode 16: Tournament
Tournament mode allows for four players. Game mode 1 rules apply. Player one plays against Player four, and Player 2 goes against Player three; the winners of each matchup play in the final round.
