Well, what a week it was, Pop-A-Shot Nation.
The San Diego Garage Crew put up another monster performance this week, notching a league-high 2,180 points. Captain Murph crossed the 200-point mark with a rock-solid 204 in his last game. We received unconfirmed reports that the team's training regimen includes morning jazzercise, no vegetables before 2:00pm, and 3 straight hours of blue light before bed. Hard for me to question the methods, it's clearly working.
With three weeks left in the regular season, the Garage Crew and Motor City Sharpshooters are sitting comfortably at the top, but the fight for seeds three and four is still anyone’s game. As everyone knows, a lot can change in three weeks.
This week’s matchup to watch features the Skyline Swishers (#3) versus the Sodballers (#5). The Swishers’ captain BDerian has been seen lighting up scores north of 160, but the Sodballers bring arguably the league's most balanced attack. FrankBux! Don’t be surprised if this one goes down to the final few shots.
Keep those scores climbing, folks.
