Week 2 is in the books, and the plot is thickening faster than a bowl of arena nacho cheese. All four of our undefeated squads managed to keep their records spotless. Impressive, sure—but somebody’s O has got to go. And wouldn’t you know it, Week 3 has all the conference leaders squaring off. Buckle up, folks—we’re about to find out who’s for real and who’s been riding beginner’s luck.
Meanwhile, the Sip n Flip Hoopsters are still tied up in what the papers are calling a “salary cap dispute.” The truth? They finally got all four players to show up. That’s progress in my book—sometimes just getting the full roster on the floor is half the battle.
Credit where credit’s due—the Tennessee Fireballers and the Seattle Superbirds came out with a little extra pep in their step this week. The Fireballers put up 183 more points than Week 1, while the Superbirds clawed out an extra 206 points of their own.
I love and appreciate the effort across the board. Excited to see things play out in week 3.
